Rock Samphire
Rock or Sea samphire grows prolifically here in Norfolk on the marshes a few miles up the road from us and we sometimes go and pick some for the table or to freeze. In season it is on sale in local shops, mainly in the Fish Mongers or at certain places by the road side. I cook bundles of it and eat with a little vinegar sprinkled on it, no salt as it has a natural salt content.
